Creative Collages in Spånga!
Finally I can offer courses on site at Spånga folkets hus! First up is my course Creative Collage.
Based on mixed media and with acrylic paint as a basis, you will first learn over two occasions how to create your own collage material and then how to use it to create your own collage in your style.
We will explore different materials and techniques so that you can find your style and above all we will have a creative, inspiring and fun time together!
You'll learn
Practical techniques based on mixed media that you can use in your painting.
Different ways to build your collage, abstract or representational.
To find your style and what you like to be able to continue creating after the end of the course.
Included
2 lesson sessions of 2 hours each filled with simple exercises that awaken your curiosity and creativity!
You will also get access to my private Facebook group for course participants where you can ask questions, share what you are doing, and get new inspiration in mixed media and collage.
Materials are available on site and everything is included, but you are also welcome to bring your own materials that you want to use for your collage during the second session.
Structure
Total time 4h, divided into 2 occasions
Session 1: Brief overview of collage and materials. Review of how you can make your own collage papers, quick exercises to spark creativity, and time for you to try it yourself.
Session 2: We gather our materials and take a closer look at how you can use them in different ways. You will also have time to try it yourself.

The course is suitable for beginners as well as those who have tried collage before!

I am a mixed media artist who loves to mix materials and techniques. I almost always paint intuitively, without much planning beforehand and let my paintings develop as I paint them.
For me, the process is at least as important as the result and I usually have many projects going on at the same time. I really enjoy using odd tools when I paint (e.g. plastic cards, toothbrushes and bubble wrap) and like to use recycled materials in my creations.
The goal of my courses is that they should be inspiring, easily accessible and that they should help you dare to paint without performance requirements! I want to give you new knowledge and ideas so that you can find your way of painting.
