Welcome to Forsså Festival – a vibrant and personal summer festival in the heart of Hälsingland! Here, music, storytelling, and togetherness come together in a magical setting.

For two days, we invite you to a festival filled with feeling, groove, and musical diversity – with everything from ballads and soul to jazz, blues, and rock’n’roll. Local talents and established artists share the stage, and the entire area is filled with warmth, closeness, and a summery vibe.

FRIDAY, August 8

18:00 NILS VALENTINE with band From dreams of being a referee to heart problems – and onwards to music. Nils Valentine is the son of Hälsingland from Hudiksvall who has taken revenge on life by putting words and music to the difficult things. With a sound that smells of summer festivals and lyrics that hit straight to the heart, he and the band offer honest, organic music that moves between unrequited love, everyday misery, and poetic farewells.

With influences such as Håkan Hellström, Winnerbäck, Jakob Hellman, and Bruce Springsteen mixed with a touch of Rainbow and Metallica, Nils creates a unique expression – where every song is its own little universe. If you miss this, you’ll miss a voice you’ll remember.

20:00 – The Bee’s Knees The Bee’s Knees is a Skåne-based octet that breathes new life into some of early jazz’s greatest hits. Inspired by swing, blues, and New Orleans street music, The Bee’s Knees play with a groove that makes it hard to sit still. Get ready to be thrown back to the roaring 1920s.

22:00 – Thunder Jam Blues Band with Jamina Jansson Friday offers a groove that leaves no one untouched! With Söderhamn’s own soul and blues queen Jamina Jansson at the front, Thunder Jam Blues Band delivers an energetic performance that mixes soul, groove, and musical brilliance. The band is a real powerhouse consisting of some of Söderhamn’s most experienced musicians, with extra reinforcement from Hudiksvall-based bassist Conny Payne, who is guaranteed to set the bass lines in your heart. It will be an evening of passion, nerve, and a groove that will make all of Forsson sway!
