´Peter Streijffert is the author, chef, grower, and speaker who is passionate about flavor and sustainability. He has written the award-winning books Smak (2016) and Vego & Vin (2017), both named Cookbook of the Year in the food & drink pairing category.
Peter’s latest book, Urban Gardening (Odla i Stan), was released in March 2019, and he also produces his own natural wines: Peter’s Own Natural Wines. Additionally, he has founded Bettnaodling, a permaculture garden located at Skenala Lövlund in Bettna, Södermanland. Here, vegetables, fruits, flowers, berries, and mushrooms are cultivated using sustainable methods such as hugelkultur beds, biochar, bokashi, rainwater harvesting, wood chips, and surface composting.
