Throwing focus day
For those who want to develop their throwing technique. You’ve already made some progress in your ceramic journey and now want to dedicate a full day to honing your skills. We’ll focus on the areas where you most want and need practice. Do you want to center more clay, pull the clay higher, or improve your technique for throwing larger pieces? Perhaps you'd like to learn how to throw on a bat to make larger plates? There are only three to four people per session, so everyone can have different goals and ambitions for the day.

Ingrid Unsöld is a ceramics designer whose range is broad, from abstract object art and timeless pieces to an exploration of space. Ingrid moves between different comtexts. The set table, where she is interested in what makes a traditional utility item relevant in contemporary times, and the funeral ritual, for which she seeks a form so timeless that it is independent and self-evident. Pedagogy and teaching have been interests that have accompanied Ingrid throughout her career. Over the years, she has taught both design, design methodology, and ceramic techniques—primarily wheel-throwing. Ingrid holds workshops, courses, and lectures.
