Wax on wax off Drum course (10v)
Mr. Miyagi taught Daniel to master karate and find a calm in life through repeated movements such as "wax on, wax off". Now it's time for Mr. Ferrari to teach you the same thing. So the harmony that occurs when brain and body are activated at the same time. When we actively listen to a rhythm and play an instrument, something similar to meditation occurs. The purpose of this workshop is for you to experience this peace of mind yourself. Peace of mind which is the core of why many musicians choose to play. When the course is over, you will have better coordination in your movements, but also an understanding that mindfulness can be so much more than thinking about your breathing. I only see the fact that you become a better drummer as a bonus.

We work with polyrhythms and classic paradiddel exercises to demonstrate what happens when rhythmic and physical balance work together. When repetition becomes meditation. Together with proper breathing and presence, the brain is activated in a way that lowers stress and anxiety, while at the same time strengthening the ability to be in the present. Both in and out of the game. This course runs over 10 lessons and combines breathing exercises with rhythm.

You should have seen the movie "Karate kid" (the original) and understood the essence of the movie.
Since 1966, André has had an indescribable attraction to drums, rhythm instruments and the music that is created with these as a basis. Regardless of whether he has been hired as a drummer, lecturer, arranger, composer, employed or freelance, he has noticed a common thread - all the positive side effects that occur when playing music. Today, research has caught up, and it is becoming difficult to deny the connection. Regularly playing a musical instrument can have the same effect on the brain as meditation and exercise. With consequences such as better memory, planning ability, and emotional presence, it is no wonder that music contributes to one's personal development.
