Barolo tasting - Italy's favorite red wine
Welcome to Al Dente Vino, where we offer wine tastings with different themes every week. The idea is that our tastings should be perfect as an after work or, as we Italians would say, an aperitivo – the moment before a meal that you set aside to eat, but above all drink something good. And that is exactly what you will do with us!
At this tasting we taste carefully selected red wines from one of Italy's finest regions, Piedmont! During the evening you will get to know several red wines from small-scale producers of Barolo, Barbaresco and even Nebbiolo, each with its own unique character.
To enhance the flavors and elevate the wines, you can add a solid cheese and charcuterie board. The charcuterie comes straight from the slicing machine and the cheeses are regional delicacies that are produced on a small scale. The charcuterie is served with freshly baked Focaccia along with our own olive oil directly from sunny Sicily!

I, who started Al Dente, am Samantha Santambrogio-Öberg and came here to Sweden from Milan in 1996. After ten years as a system developer, I decided to completely change my career path and make my dream come true. My dream was to work with my lifelong passion for food, culture and travel.
Today, food, culture, tradition and Italy are what I deal with daily. Details in cooking, the choice of ingredients and a family atmosphere around the table and pots – that is what I teach.
A cooking course with us is a break and a breather in a hectic everyday life, whether you are doing a team-building cooking activity with colleagues or customers, or if you are cooking together with family and friends.
A pasta dish enjoyed in Tuscany may have a slightly different character than if you eat the same dish in Stockholm. But in my kitchen you come very close to that special, Italian feeling.
