"Titti-vase"
Welcome to a new course with me at Studio 107. In this workshop we celibrate the body by creating a "titti-vase". "Ringla" (in swedich) is one of the basic techniques in ceramics where you simply build a pot or vase with the help of long clay sausages. The sausages are stacked on top of each other and the surface is processed so that they both sit properly together and with a litter effort- get the desired shape. As a tribute to the body, we give these vases breasts. No prior knowledge is needed. You will be served a glass of bubbles , with or without alcohol. Come alone or with friends. Who knows -maybe you'll come home with a bunch of new friends together with yourvase. We work with an air drying ceramic clay but do not have the option to fire in a kiln. This means that the vase cannot withstand water, but it will work fine as an ornament, pencil case or with some dried flowers in it.

Of course, non-alcoholic bubbly is also offered. You can get a little dusty from the clay, but it's not immediately sticky.
Lisa is an artist and illustrator with her own studio on Folkungagatan in Stockholm. Lisa prefers to draw, paint and sculpt. When she creates, she mainly works with oil paintings on such large canvases as she comes across. The inspiration for the motifs comes from contemporary times, history and from the city and nature. Often we can see women, animals and flowers in Lisa's work. She herself writes that her goal with art is to create high quality art and she is therefore constantly looking for new, creative areas to apply art to.
