Paint for you!
A painting course that focuses on the process more than the result. During four weeks, we will explore four different themes together: Color, Ground, Contrast and Inspiration. On Sundays the focus will be on painting and testing different techniques together and on Wednesdays you will have the opportunity to ask questions and we will also talk more about the theme. All exercises are based on mixed media painting.

Included
A total of 8 hours of live broadcasting where you both gain new knowledge and have the opportunity to paint yourself in the meantime. The live broadcasts are recorded so you can watch it again afterwards. Simple exercises that awaken your curiosity and creativity and conversations that make you think new thoughts and develop your own way of painting.
Structure
Total time 8h, divided into 8 occasions
Week 1 Color: The first theme focuses entirely on color - through practical exercises and discussions you will learn to find your colors and how you can use them to bring out different emotions and moods in your art. Week 2 Foundation: In the theme of foundation, we will take a closer look at how to create a good start to your painting. We look at different ways to create texture with texture media, collage, etc. We also talk about how different textures create different experiences. Week 3 Contrast: In the third week, we take a closer look at how contrast can create tension or harmony in your painting. We investigate light and dark and create contrast using color, texture, pattern and motif. Week 4 Inspiration: The last week we will go deeper into inspiration so you can continue your creation long after the course ends! We look at what inspires you now, how you can find new inspiration in unexpected places and you get lots of tips on how to get started when inspiration disappears.
Please note
You don´´ t need a lot of painting experience before to take the course because all the exercises can be adapted to where you are at the moment, but if you are completely new to painting, I recommend that you take my introductory course Get started with mixed media first. In this course we will explore painting in a free and undemanding way. You will be presented with challenges that can be interpreted in different ways and I will be there to guide you through them to find your way. I think you learn the most by doing first and then reflecting on what you have done, which does not suit everyone. If you are a person who likes to learn things step by step and with clear instructions on how to do it, this is probably not the course for you.

I am a mixed media artist who loves mixing materials and techniques. I almost always paint intuitively, without much planning beforehand and let my paintings develop as I paint them. For me, the process is at least as important as the result, and I usually have many projects going on at the same time. I really enjoy using odd tools when I paint (eg plastic cards, toothbrushes and bubble wrap) and like to use recycled materials in my creations. The goal of my courses is that they should be inspiring, easily accessible and that they should help you dare to paint without performance anxiety. I want to give you new thoughts and ideas so that you can find your way of painting.
