Beginner’s course modern embroidery
Welcome to an embroidery course where we go through the basic stitches in free embroidery. We embroider in a small format and you get to take home a unique embroidered piece. You can choose your own pattern or be inspired to develop your own unique expression on site.

Included
The course includes fabric, yarn and cards on which the embroidery is mounted. Embroidery hoops, needles, scissors and other tools are borrowed on site. It is also possible to buy materials. Coffee, tea and a light fika included.

The course is mainly suitable for beginners, but more experienced people are also welcome. I adapt the workshop after the participants.
Hosted by
Luisa is a textile artist with a penchant for reuse, traditional techniques and the extra nerdy stuff. Since 2019, she has been running Lararium where, in addition to offering courses, she does consulting in cultural history and traditional crafts, as well as working with her own textile art projects. Luisa offers workshops in several different textile techniques, all with the goal that you create a finished item with your own hands and that in creating you can let your head take a break for a while.

Train to Persborg or Rosengård station (we are about halfway between). Bus 5 from Malmö C to stop Annelund, from there approx. 5 min walk. One flight up, wheelchair lift available.
