The Workshop Club

Luisa is a textile artist with a penchant for reuse, traditional techniques and the extra geeky. Since 2019, she has been running Lararium where, in addition to offering courses, she does consulting assignments in mediating and cultural history, as well as working with her own textile expressions. She has her workshop in Blå Huset on Norra Grängesbergsgatan in Malmö, where the workshop space is shared with other creators. With a degree in Cultural and Museum Studies Luisa has worked with experience and exhibition design. She has carried textile work with her all her life, with alternating focus on, among other things, knitting, sewing, handspun yarn and free embroidery. She sees the process itself as at least as important as the final product. Luisa has workshops in several different textile techniques, all with the goal that you create a finished item with your own hands and that through creation you can let your head take a break.
