Meet other textile enthusiasts and give yourself a moment to work on your own creation. Join the club!
In my studio and the workshop space in Blå Huset I have plenty of work space, a cutting table and a comfortable sofa. I have, among other things, sewing machine, overlock and a variety of textile tools that you can borrow during the meetings. I am of course available if you need help with anything.
Included
Paper for drafting patterns and access to all basic textile tools included.
There's coffee, tea and simple vegan fika for every meeting. You are welcome to bring your own snacks as well.

Please note
First of all, you must bring the project you want to work on during the afternoon. Maybe a garment that needs mending, a knitting, a pattern you want help interpreting or that Thing That Never Gets Done?
I have some materials that you can buy on the spot if any urgent need arises.

Luisa is a textile artist with a penchant for reuse, traditional techniques and the extra nerdy stuff. Since 2019, she has been running Lararium where, in addition to offering courses, she does consulting in cultural history and traditional crafts, as well as working with her own textile art projects.
She has a MA in Cultural Studies and has also worked with project and process management in various forms. She has carried textile craft with her all her life, with alternating focus on crafts like knitting, sewing, handspinning and embroidery. Luisa sees the process itself as at least as important as the final product. That through the work of your hands you learn more about the material and the techniques than you can ever read about.
Luisa offers workshops in several different textile techniques, all with the goal that you create a finished item with your own hands and that in creating you can let your head take a break for a while.

Train to Persborg or Rosengård station (we are about halfway between). Bus 5 from Malmö C to stop Annelund, from there approx. 5 min walk. One flight up, wheelchair lift available.
