Introduction to Survival (42 h)
In this course we aim to give the participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in survival skills under safe conditions by being placed in a staged survival situation. The course begins with an introductory lecture and demonstration of some basic techniques. We go through important safety aspects and get to know each other. During the course weekend, we will run workshops where we will teach selected techniques that participants can benefit from during their stay. The content of the course will be adapted based on the participants' previous experience and knowledge. On the first night, the focus lies on how to quickly create a simple shelter and a fire. The focus lies on the most severe factors for surviving out in the wild; Staying warm, dry and being able to search for food during the season and in the environment in which the course is given.

1 occasion, 42h
We meet at 18.00 on Friday for an introductory lecture in our barn. We offer a simple evening meal and then run courses in making a fire and building shelter. After that, you get to independently, but with support, build shelter and make a fire at our course site in the forest. We'll have a workshop in water purification and talk about what can be eaten in nature during the season in which the course is conducted. During a short course of 1-2 days, however, it is recommended to let the body feel how it works without food. It is a good experience. Therefore we don't provide you with any meals during the course. You then sleep in the shelters you have built and we finish off with a course session on Sunday morning where we also summarize the course.
Du bör ha viss friluftsvana för att tillgodogöra dig kursen på bästa vis.
